What exactly is Unpopular Opinions?

A party game on your phone. The app shows a divisive opinion (“Tea beats coffee”), each player swipes right to agree or left to disagree, and the app reveals whether their take is Popular (majority) or Unpopular (minority), with the real percentage of players who think the same. Then you debate.

Is the app free?

Yes, the app is free to download and plays without an account. Some themes are part of the Premium offer, presented in the app.

How many players can play?

Solo, as a couple or in a group. Add the players’ names on the home screen and pass the phone around. Solo, you play against the stats of every other player.

Do you need any equipment?

No. One phone is enough for the whole table. No cards, no dice, no account to create.

Is it available on Android?

Not yet. Unpopular Opinions is available on iPhone and iPad through the App Store. The Android version is planned; write to us if you want to be notified.

Can I submit my own opinions?

Yes, right from the app (“Submit your opinions”). Every submission is reviewed before publication; if accepted, you get a notification when it goes live.

Where do the percentages come from?

From the real votes of every player in the app, updated continuously. The percentages quoted on this site come from that same data.
