This Privacy Policy describes how the publisher of the Unpopular Opinions application, identified in the Legal Notice (“we”, “our” or “us”), collects, uses and protects information in connection with the use of the mobile application “Unpopular Opinions” (hereinafter the “Application”).

Respecting your privacy is our priority. We are committed to not collecting any personal data that could identify you directly or indirectly.

ARTICLE 1 - COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

The Application collects no personally identifiable data. You can use the Application completely anonymously, without having to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address or phone number.

Anonymous usage data

In order to improve the user experience, fix bugs and optimize the features of the Application, we collect fully anonymized event data. This data is never associated with a specific individual or device and in no way allows you to be identified.

The information collected is limited to:

  • Interactions with the interface (e.g., button clicks).
  • Screens or pages visited within the Application.
  • Anonymous crash reports in the event of a technical error.

This aggregated and anonymous data is used solely for statistical purposes, to understand how the Application is used as a whole.

The presentation website unpopular-opinions.app does not set any cookies and does not use any advertising trackers. Traffic is measured with Umami, an audience measurement tool that we host ourselves in Europe: it uses neither cookies nor advertising identifiers, does not track anyone from one site to another, and only keeps aggregated statistics (page views, referring page, country, device type). No data is transmitted to any third party for advertising purposes. The server’s technical logs (IP address, page visited, timestamp) are kept for a maximum of 30 days for security purposes.
